In response to our growth and the increasing intricacies of the regulatory landscape, we have strategically restructured our Product and Regulatory department into two distinct teams: Product Quality and Regulatory Affairs.
We are proud to announce that Andrew Wootten, who has expertly managed both product quality and regulatory activities as our Quality Manager, will now focus exclusively on regulatory responsibilities in his new role as Regulatory Affairs Manager. Andrew’s extensive experience will continue to ensure compliance and provide valuable regulatory and audit support to our customers.
We are equally delighted to announce Zoe Rampton’s promotion to be our new Product Quality Manager. Zoe has been a key member of the Meridian Medical team since its inception, serving in multiple product-focused roles. Her career includes significant experience as a cleanroom supervisor and, most recently, as a product quality engineer within the quality department. Zoe brings deep insight, hands-on expertise and a rich understanding of our operations to this vital role.

With this enhanced specialisation of responsibilities, both Andrew and Zoe are in prime positions to provide our customers with seamless support and expert guidance in their respective key areas, maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring the highest standards of product excellence.
Andrew will oversee and close out any open product CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions) while continuing to be the primary contact for all regulatory matters. Zoe’s focus will be on handling all new product-related corrective actions and lead initiatives to ensure product quality.
