Having already made significant investments in both the company and new equipment this year, we’ve been investing again – this time in a new 10KW digital high frequency welding machine.
Adding to our existing line-up of machines in our RF welding facility, the Thor 1023 allows us to manufacture medical products that require RF high frequency welding with greater accuracy, repeatability and improved cycle times.
Double-shuttle capabilities
Utilising the Thor’s double-shuttle capabilities, we can simultaneously run two separate products or products requiring multiple welding stages, while the machine’s digital control console allows for accurate settings adjustments and data storage for product validation purposes.
Meridian Medical’s RF welding machines range from 4.5kw to 10kw and can be used on various types of materials to produce a range of airtight bags and medical dressings.
RF welding techniques are applied within our ISO Class 7 clean room environments to ensure the end product is guaranteed to be completely suitable for the exact specifications of the medical industry.
