Now in 2018 we are proud to reveal our latest investment programme – one that brings not just new facilities and equipment but a whole new look to Meridian Medical itself.
A brand new Meridian Medical brand
One of the key changes you will see to Meridian Medical is our branding, encompassing a new logo, a new-look website and other marketing materials, all designed to cement our position as a leading provider of disposable medical supplies in the UK.
Our new brand logo incorporates the values and expertise of the company’s heritage and adds in the new direction of the company, now under the management of James and Marcus Fenton, sons of the company’s founder Ian Fenton.
The new-look Meridian Medical website has been designed to easily guide you towards everything that you might possibly need within the field of medical contract manufacturing. In addition, you’ll find help and advice on the medical device industry issues that affect you.
Our end-to-end service means that we can help anyone with an idea or design for a medical device, or with an existing product that may require modification, packing, sterilisation or storage.

Our major new investments
Our full end-to-end service on all kinds of disposable medical devices is enhanced by using the very best equipment there is and we are excited to announce our recent investment into the expansion of our cleanroom mould shop.
This has allowed the installation of a brand new state-of-the-art Fanuc Roboshot a-S220IA and a new material handling robot arm from Hi Tech Automation – the 6-axis M-10iA/8L robot conveyor system.
Fanuc machinery is renowned for its efficiency and the brand new, all electric, 220 tonne, Fanuc Roboshot S220iA injection moulding machine is ideally suited to a diverse range of straightforward, as well as sophisticated, injection moulding tasks.

The new Fanuc injection moulding machine will give us the scope to run larger, multi-impression tools, making the entire manufacturing process more energy efficient, precise, speedy and cost effective. In turn, the 6-axis M10 robot arm conveyor system will improve product handling and mould cycle times, while being capable of moving heavier parts within a larger work area, making the manufacturing process much more cost effective and efficient.
Improved Class 8 clean room facilities
In a further move to invest in the future of Meridian Medical, we have invested heavily in extending our cleanroom facilities. This expanded area now contains LED panels, as opposed to fluorescent tubes, meaning a better standard of light for quality inspection.
